Private instruction available for piano, voice, guitar, bass, ukulele, banjo, percussion, recorder, flute, clarinet, saxophone, French Horn, trumpet, trombone, euphonium, and violin.

*Individual lessons are most successful when age-appropriate: piano, violin, recorder, ukulele – age 6 minimum, age 8 recommended; voice – age 12 minimum; woodwinds, brass, percussion, bass, guitar – age 9 recommended.

Private Lesson enrollment is ongoing, year-round, with vacations and holidays listed on the CALENDAR.

Number of Lessons average 48 per year, depending what day your lesson is scheduled.  Monday students receive fewer lessons due to holidays.

Students taking In-Person Private Lessons on campus may request occasional online lessons to accommodate illness, health concerns, and pre-planned travel. Teachers may or may not honor those requests, depending on the amount of notice received. Requesting online lessons for last-minute student transportation issues is discouraged and may not be honored.

Private Lesson teachers may offer online lessons to their In-Person Private Lesson students in lieu of a teacher absence or as a make-up lesson. If parents decline the online lesson, they may be offered a credit instead.

Regularly scheduled Online Lessons are to be held at their agreed-upon day and time. Lessons may not be rescheduled to accommodate student absences.

For more information, see our TERMS & POLICIES.

Once registration has been completed and fees are paid in full, lesson times may be held up to one month before the start date.

As of 2/1/2021 woodwind and brass students may enroll for online lessons only. Online lessons are available for piano, guitar and voice students pending availability. In-person lessons are offered in all other instruments including vaccinated voice students. As the vaccine gains FDA approval, we expect to eventually require vaccination for eligible students in ALL Music School classes and in-person lessons.
