Campus Use Agreement
Sunnyvale Presbyterian Church, PELC, and The Music School welcome you to our campus!
The Coleman Room (Rm # 702) and the patio area outside the 700 building are designated shared community spaces. Families are welcome to relax, read, do homework, socialize or wait for a student/family member attending a class. Children under age 12 must be supervised by an adult.
For the safety of the whole community and out of respect for our shared facilities:
- Children must remain within sight and under the supervision of a parent or guardian at all times, except while participating in a designated church, PELC, or Music School event or class.
- Dogs are welcome on campus when they are under the control of an adult and on a leash. Dogs are not permitted inside the buildings.
- Walk bicycles, scooters and tricycles rather than riding them on sidewalks or in the courtyard.
- Help care for our campus by not climbing trees, structures or outdoor furniture.
- Please leave flowers, plants, rocks, and other natural items where they belong so everyone can enjoy them.
- Help keep benches, gathering areas and walkways safe by leaving rocks, plant material, trash, and other debris where they belong or disposing of it properly.
- Playgrounds and gym are not available for use except during designated church, PELC or Music School programs.
- Please do not allow your children to play with the automatic door openers to enter the Sanctuary or attached office space to avoid damage, injury and minimize disruptions to those working or worshiping.
- Closets, maintenance areas and storage rooms are restricted to authorized personnel.
- The Memorial Garden is a place of remembrance and reflection. Please help preserve its peaceful atmosphere by ensuring children do not play in this or remove flowers left for loved ones.
- The Labyrinth is a quiet space for prayer, meditation, and reflection. Children are welcome to walk the labyrinth with adult supervision; however, we ask that children not run, play or dig in the gravel. Additional information about the Labyrinth is available in the church office.
- The campus vegetable garden is maintained by church staff. Please keep children out of the garden beds and leave the plants undisturbed.
- Many rooms and buildings on the campus are offices or in use by other groups. Please respect these spaces by not interrupting classes, meetings or other activities.
- Security cameras are in use throughout the campus to help maintain a safe and secure environment.
