The Music School will close classes and lessons effective Friday March 13th. It has become increasingly evident that the risks of continuing to meet are far too high. We shall continue to assess the situation and will provide updates in two weeks, but our hopeful expectation is that our closure will last approximately one month. Our office staff is available via phone or email. The Honors Recital is cancelled and alternate plans for the Spring Musical are continuing. We are optimistic that our June Recital Series, summer productions, classes and camps will go on as planned. Registration for Summer and Fall classes are still being accepted. We hope you and your loved ones will remain safe and healthy in these uncertain times.

A WORD FROM DORIS HARRY
Thank you for 40 years of making wonderful music together. I am so lucky to have had such amazing support from all of you for these last 40 years. Terrific students and families having musical fun together. I am sure The Music School will continue to flourish with this wonderful faculty and staff, and I hope you will continue to enjoy your time here.
I love the comment from one parent, “this music school has heart.”
It is time for me to change hats and look for the next adventure.
May the Music Never End!
Congratulations to our student Kenny Lin and his teacher Anna Turkova – Kenny performed Chopin’s Scherzo No. 2 Opus 31, and was named the Third Prize Winner of the 2017 New York Debut Young Musicians Competition, Piano Solo Competition. This is an international competition, and Kenny was praised for his technical skills and artistry. Click HERE for his performance!
