DISNEY’S THE LITTLE MERMAID is presented through special arrangement with Music Theater International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI. http://www.MTIshows.com. This event is sponsored by MVHS Choirs.  The Music School is an outreach program of Sunnyvale Presbyterian Church.  

Our New Year’s Eve Premiere Party of our Summer Movie Musical was a blast! This original show was filmed in our homes and on Zoom, and all video editing was completed by student volunteers! Congratulations to the cast and crew for their hard work, creativity, and adaptability!

Congratulations to the cast of “Look in a Book”! Our first movie musical was rehearsed and filmed in Zoom calls and by students’ parents in their homes. Teachers recorded music and edited the audio and video. We are so proud of our cast and faculty for following through on a much-loved production despite the pandemic. The show must go on!

A WORD FROM DORIS HARRY

Thank you for 40 years of making wonderful music together.  I am so lucky to have had such amazing support from all of you for these last 40 years. Terrific students and families having musical fun together. I am sure The Music School will continue to flourish with this wonderful faculty and staff, and I hope you will continue to enjoy your time here.  

I love the comment from one parent, “this music school has heart.”

It is time for me to change hats and look for the next adventure.

Congratulations to our student Kenny Lin and his teacher Anna Turkova – Kenny performed Chopin’s Scherzo No. 2 Opus 31, and was named the Third Prize Winner of the 2017 New York Debut Young Musicians Competition, Piano Solo Competition. This is an international competition, and Kenny was praised for his technical skills and artistry.  Click HERE for his performance!
