Young Musicians  – age 5 – 6 

Our Young Musicians class is offered for Kindergarten students who have previously taken our Pathways class. 

Children who are in Kindergarten learn best when taught through a whole-child approach to music—singing, moving, creating, and learning through a wide range of experiences. Students may choose to continue as general music majors with no practice required, or choose to begin skill development on piano, in which lessons are carefully planned for the child’s age, physical development, and concentration level. Majoring in piano requires an instrument at home, and the child and parent(s) need to make a commitment to practice outside of class time. 

Students must be age 5 by 9/1/25

Wednesday Young Musicians 3:30 – 5:00 PM  TEACHER: Nick Patton – this is a new section this year, group classes need a minimum enrollment of students to open.

Thursday Young Musicians 3:30 – 5:00 PM  TEACHER: Peyton White

Saturday Young Musicians 10:00 – 11:30 AM  TEACHER: TBD UPDATED 8/25/2025 – the earliest this class will open is January 2026, pending staffing. We recommend you enroll in a weekday class instead.)

FIXED MONTHLY TUITION: $105

2025 – 2026 FAMILY REGISTRATION FEE: $40

MATERIALS FEE: $40 (Materials: The Young Musician keyboard book, Hello Music workbooks, assignment books, additional individually selected materials)

2025 – 2026 TERM meets September 8, 2025 – June 1, 2026
