Kaleidoscope 2025-2026
Kaleidoscope – grades 4 – 7
Students develop musical appreciation and skills through learning centers, ensembles, listening, music history, and composition activities. All students are taught proper vocal, piano, and music-reading skills and basic theory.
Kaleidoscope students may choose from the following majors for a group lesson within class time: piano, violin, flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, drums, or guitar. Majors must have an instrument to bring to and from class, and make a commitment to practice outside of class time. Students may choose to enroll as a general major, which requires no at-home practice. Once the term has started, instrumental majors are only offered pending teacher availability.
Performances in the Choral Festival, Spring Musical, and student recitals are included in the class during the Regular Term.
