Young Musicians  – age 5 – 6 

Children who are in Kindergarten learn best when taught through a whole child approach to music—singing, moving, creating, and learning through a wide range of experiences. Students may choose to continue as general music majors with no practice required, or choose to begin skill development on piano, in which lessons are carefully planned for the child’s age, physical development, and concentration level. Majoring in piano requires an instrument at home, and the child and parent(s) need to make a commitment to practice outside of class time. 

Our Young Musicians class is offered for Kindergarten students who have previously taken our Pathways class. Students must be age 5 by 9/1/21.

MATERIALS FEE: $40 (Materials: The Young Musician Keyboard Book, Hello Music, assignment books, additional individually selected materials)
