MARCH 2020

Hello Music School families!

  • THANK YOU to Deb Sanfilippo, Nick Patton, Jo Smith-Nilsson, and our outstanding Teaching Assistants for such a fun week of Vacation Camps! 39 kids spent their days making music, messes, and learning while having fun.  Many thanks to Sam Shinnick, Kirk Tamura, Valerie Sterk, and Parker Thomas for performing for our students – such a treat!
  • REGISTRATION for Summer and Regular Term 2020-2021 is now open! Schedules and information are on display outside the office and on the website.  Private Lessons do not need to re-enroll, as your lessons are ongoing throughout the year.
  • RECITAL ASSIGNMENTS for June recitals will be distributed in March. Please contact the office if you don’t receive yours by the end of the month.
  • NOVEL CORNAVIRUS (COVID-19): We are keeping up with information that is updated daily from the Santa Clara County Public Health and the Centers for Disease Control and are diligently disinfecting our classrooms, studios, and offices. Hand sanitizer is available in all rooms, as well as the hallway outside the piano lab (room 408).  You can continue to support the health and safety of our community by following standard precautionary measures:  stay home if you are sick – especially if you have a fever, wash hands with soap and water or hand sanitizer, avoid touching eyes, nose, and mouth, cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue and throw the tissue in the trash.  Individuals with chronic health issues and/or individuals experiencing severe symptoms should be evaluated by a medical professional.
